Subsequently, finding a suitable form and applying the outputs from the analytical part in a specific architectural design.
Coalescence
Lubovská, Karolína ; Příhoda, Jiří (referee) ; Ambrůz, Jan (advisor)
The theme for my bachelor's thesis is the landscape surrounding a south Moravian village called Bavory. To put this environment into context, I was looking into its historical and geographical background. All of my efforts were focused on one section of my family's property. The property consists of vineyards and a dried-up spring. In one part of my work, I observe the everyday activity around this spring, and in the second part of my work, I focused on making an installation out of dead grapevines.
Moravian wine centre Brno
Vojtěšek, Jiří ; Žák, Libor (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The city of Brno has always been a center of Moravian wine. The new draft of wine center responds to this reality and represents the grandeur of wineries in its full glory. Respect for nature, love for traditions and love for order/system are the main aspects of the design. The proposal is essentially open to the public, however, the necessary modesty is preserved. Conversely taciturnity of production part of buliding holds the secrets of the deep traditions of Viticulture and Enology. Designed buildings are used for production, wine storage, administration associated with the production, tasting and selling wine, conferences, accommodation and, finally, wellness and other activities. The size of the building is the result of an optimal design that does not interfere with nearby historical buildings. The emphasis is on minimizing costs both during construction and during operation. Flor plan shape resembling the letter L is oriented towards the west courtyard. This raises a unique viticultural area court with a wide staircase. The amphitheater can be used for seasonal exhibitions, pilgrimages or feast of local entertainment. The yard is connected with the street Hlinky, which paraphrases the historic entrance portals into winecellars. The northern part of the building bites into the ground and connects the original winecellars with new facilities. Small narrow windows reflects the desired taciturnity, just as it was with winecellars in South Moravia for centuries.
Zhodnocení významu škod zvěří na vinicích v okolí obce Limbach
Hlavatovič, Ondrej
This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the importance of wildlife damage in vineyards. The vineyards on which the field investigations were carried out are located in the vicinity of the village of Limbach, located in the Pezinok district. The actual damage assessment was carried out using the walking method on three areas of interest using bite plots located at the beginning, middle and end of the vineyard. Subsequently, the economic impact of the damage on the individual areas of interest was quantified. The work also included monitoring of the intensity of vineyard use by wildlife, which was carried out using photo traps placed at the points of arrival of wildlife in the vineyard.

Srovnání kolonizace kořenů rhizosférními mikroorganismy v konvenčně a ekologicky ošetřovaných vinohradech
Millerová, Kateřina
In the diploma thesis the literature dealing with the comparison of root colonization by rhizosphere microorganism in the conventionally and ecologically treated vineyards was collected and studied. The soil samples and the parts of the vine roots from the vineyard of the wine growing Gotberg and vineyard Kačírky were took and analyzed. These samples were used for the survey of root colonization intensity by arbuscular rmycorrhizal fungi and they were also used for determination of the microorganism quantity of the selected physiological groups in the soil. The occurrence of the arbuscular mycorrhiza was studied under an electric light microscope and the result was expressed as a percentage. To extract the microorganisms from the environment the dilution method with the subsequent smear onto agar plates with a suitable medium was used. The results show the higher colonization by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in the conventionally cultivated vineyard. However, the occurrence of the soil microorganism, for example, the total amount of microorganisms was in the bio vineyard higher.
